'Ratchy'

July 1990 - May 2005

Ratchy went to Rainbow Bridge on May 12, 2005. Before he became a member of the *Bunch* here at Bon Chance, Ratchy had lived in quite a few places. When he arrived here, I knew he would never leave. He was such a special fellow and gave me so many, many moments of laughter. He was the perpetual puppy and was the only Aussie here who had a special stuffed toy that he carried around until the day he left for his journey. Ratchy was the perfect Junior Handler's dog. Had the Altered Program been a regular part of the Conformation program, Ratchy would have achieved his Championship. Raven, who was the only one I bred to Ratchy, was his constant companion and I know she wonders where her buddy has gone. His laughing blue eyes will be missed by all of us. Be at peace sweet boy!

The first time Ratchy walked into my house quite a few years ago, I knew he would never leave!! This wonderful Mistretta boy had my heart within minutes. He is a perpetual puppy and a clown. He loves attention and gives great hugs in return. Ratchy acquired points in the Conformation ring and was being shown in Jr. Handling by Ali Garcia, daughter of Nancy Garcia of Riatta. He was also shown in Altered Conformation.

Ratchy became the Perfect Dog for a Jr. Handler!!

Ali Garcia, daughter of Nancy Garcia of Riatta, showed Ratchy to Debra Gower at the Eastex Sweetheart Classic in February, 2000 and was chosen Reserve Best Jr. Handler. Two weeks later Ali and Ratchy won Best Jr. Handler at the Tasa Millennium Mania show in Hutto, Texas!
